Behavioral model for range expansion
Mangrove tree crabs now reside in salt marshes that are 100s of km northward of their historic mangrove habitats. We are building a behavioral model to investigate the role of larval dispersal in range expansion of coastal invertebrates.
Light pollution impacts to coastal larvae
Artificial light at night (ALAN) can disrupt biological cycles and animal behavior. We investigate how ALAN affects the behavior and dispersal of invertebrate larvae.
